The Glenn Sweetman Memorial Fund
About Glenn and the fund
Glenn Sweetman was one of our people, a fantastic creative guy, who left behind some wonderful writing, art and music. He struggled with addiction and mental health, but never stopped caring about others. The Glenn Sweetman memorial fund has been created to honour everything Glenn stood for, and to allow Tang Hall SMART and Tang Hall Employment to extend its work with people experiencing addiction, homelessness and poor mental health. The Glenn Sweetman fund is for the relief of hardship, and can be accessed by people who are signed up for our general employability programme, but who need some help with one-off essential purchases such as clothing, travel, food etc.
We rely on donations to keep this fund running. It has its own account and is managed separately from the Tang Hall Employment side. Every penny donated is used for the relief of hardship.
On this page you can order a booklet of Glenn’s work, or a T-shirt with one of Glenn’s designs. Please message us if you would like to send a donation for this fund or you can use the donate button below - in which case, please also drop us a message to explain that you would like to have it used for this part of our charity if that is your preference.

You can purchase a T-shirt featuring a design by Glenn for £20, or a booklet of his writing and art for £10. The T-shirts come in small, medium or large, and are available in orange, green or white. Please email sue@tanghallemployment.com with your order, and to arrange payment by bank transfer, cheque, or in-person with cash.
